TSP, Inc. begins its 85th year with a continued commitment from owners and new energy from first-time shareholders. Since its founding, TSP has been a leader-owned company. The recent promotion of several team members across our five-state footprint continues that legacy of personal accountability. Our strong internal leaders remain dedicated to delivering outstanding design solutions and exceptional client service.

“Our people invest themselves in our work and our company every day,” CEO Dick Gustaf said. “Shareholders, Associates and Principals take the next step. We’ve created a culture of engaging our clients, building trust-based relationships, and celebrating our accomplishments together. Our owner-leaders work set the direction for TSP and the standards for our client-centered practice.”

Additionally, Steven Shogrin has been named TSP’s new Healthcare Market Leader. Steve brings over 24 years of experience as a healthcare planner, project architect, and project manager to this top healthcare development position. He succeeds longtime Healthcare Market Leader Kent Larsen, AIA, who will remain a Principal with the firm until his planned retirement at the end of 2015.

“I’m very honored, humbled, and excited to take over this role and follow the healthcare legacy Kent was so instrumental in developing,” Steve said. “He’s done an outstanding job and truly represents the values this company holds so dear.”

Steve joined TSP in September 2013 and quickly recognized TSP’s ‘Team’ culture as distinctive from other organizations he has been involved with. It’s a good fit for his solution-based thinking, which encourages innovation and collaboration built on hard work, trust and respect. Steve’s collaborative approach to healthcare planning and design is driven by goals, evidence, and value with the outcome of achieving great functionality and distinctive design. A LEED accredited professional, Steve also is passionate about sustainability and the impact buildings have on the environment.

“Developing leaders from within at each of our offices enables us to stay rooted in the communities we serve,” Gustaf said. “We’re committed to local-level leadership that strengthens our practice and allows us to really learn what our clients most need from us.”
